Creative Visualization with Vision Board (Part 3)

posted in Visualization, Law Of Attraction, Science of Getting Rich, Manifesting |

Vision board acts like a magnet that attracts what you really want into your life. It also serves as visual reminder that keeps you and your mind (including your subconscious mind) on what you are going after. Your mind will automatically notice things that will bring you closer to your goals. Your mind will think and come out with ideas that will realize what is in your vision board.

To create an effective vision board, first you have to divide your life into several general categories. The common categories are like health, wealth, career, relationship, emotional and spiritual. Brainstorm a few categories that you want to focus on in your life. You should also balance your life because you want all parts of your life to be doing well!

The next thing you need to do is to decide whether you want to make a vision board for each category or you want to create a single vision board that combines all these categories. I would recommend that you do one for each category.

To create a vision board for a category, health for example, find pictures from magazines, newspapers and other media that has pictures which represents your ideal health and fitness. It can be pictures of an athlete, a model, a person exercising, or healthy foods. The most important thing is that the pictures should make you excited! If you have the body of perfect fitness and live the life of perfect health just as in the pictures, how would you feel? If the pictures do not excite you enough, look for more! Another example might be the things that you want to have. If a picture of a race car does not excite you enough, maybe that is not what you really want. Try other pictures such as a jet plane or a helicopter! Let your mind go wild. Don’t set any limitation to yourself! Be a child and let your heart and desires drive you.

Other than pictures, you can also use words. If you are doing a vision board on relationship, you can cut out words like “Passionate Relationship”, “Ultimate Lover”, “Sexy Moments”, “Lover of My Life” or the like. You want to combine pictures and words to give a deeper effect. If you are doing a vision board on health, cut out words like “Athlete”, “Adonis”, “Iron Man”, “Perfect Health”, “Strong and Powerful Body”, “Role Model of Health” or “Holistic Health”. Similar to pictures, these words should excite you. Read through the magazine or websites to get some ideas of phrases that really excites you. If you find it through your computer, print it out and put it to your vision board.

Combine all the pictures and words and paste them together to form a vision board. If you are creating only one vision board for all categories, make sure you have a balance and include pictures and words for each category. Again, you want to excel in all areas of your life.

Finally, look at it again and make sure it really motivate you and drive you to make it happen! Hang your vision board on a place that you will look at every single day.
